WCS is led by a founder who has personally driven the MSME cluster portfolio, supported by field teams and resource persons across the states we work in.

Anitha Rao
Founder, We Care Society
Anitha Rao has led We Care Society's MSME cluster development portfolio, taking producer groups across more than twenty sectors from informal, unorganised work into structured clusters with shared facilities and market access.
That portfolio spans food and agri processing, fisheries, textiles and handicrafts, and engineering — from a raisin processing cluster in Vijayapura and a maize federation in Bagalkot, to fisherwomen's value-addition clusters in Pondicherry and Udupi, to garment and jute clusters run by self-help group women across Karnataka.

Each of these represents a group of producers organised into a working cluster with training, shared infrastructure and a route to market.

Field teams and resource persons
Programmes are delivered by WCS field teams alongside named resource persons and technical experts drawn in for each sector — from food technologists at CFTRI to solar engineers at SELCO to design-thinking facilitators for artisan clusters.
