Inclusive growth means nothing if it stops at the people who are easiest to reach. A significant share of our work is built specifically for transgender persons, persons with disabilities, tribal communities and fisherwomen — groups that are frequently counted in poverty statistics and left out of enterprise programmes.

Setting up a Common Facility Centre to support the livelihoods of transgender persons and rural women, producing value-added products from coconut, coconut waste, coconut leaves, fruits, vegetables, ragi and millets. Coconut is the One District One Product crop for Ramanagara district, which anchors the centre commercially.
Fostering entrepreneurship among disabled communities through a collaborative initiative that promotes inclusive entrepreneurship development programmes — empowering abilities rather than managing disability.
Developing fish value-added products with fisherwomen clusters in Pondicherry and fish waste processing at Udupi, Karnataka — creating ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat products, and converting processing waste into fish meal, oil and powder for the poultry and prawn feed industries.
Building livelihoods around waste streams that currently cost money to dispose of — turning waste generation into waste-to-wealth management for the communities that handle it.
